included. T h e patient s h ould, however, avoid the common d i etetic errors. Ideally, his diet should con t ain a limited quantity of carbohydrates, fats and proteins which are acid- f orming foods, and a liberal qua n tity of alkali n e foods co n sisting o f fr e sh fruits, gr e en vegetables and germinated gram.
