The followi n g is the su g gested diet f or persons suffering fr o m hyperten s ion or some disorder of the heart:

 

* On rising: Warm water with lemon juice and h o ney or fresh fruit juice of apple, grap e s, orange, pin e apple.

* Dinner: Fresh fruit or vegetable juice or soup, t wo lightly cooked vegetables, one or two whole wheat tappets.

 

The patient should also pay attention to other l a ws of nature for health b uilding s u ch as taking moderate exercise, get ti ng proper rest and slee p , adopting t h e right mental attitude a nd getting fresh air and drinking pu r e water.

 

 

 

Tip 204. The Cabbage Cure for P s oriasis

 

Cabbage leaves have b een succ e ssfully used in the form of compresses in the treatment of psoriasis. T he thick e st and greenest outer leaves are most effective for use as comp r esses.

They should be thoroughly washed in warm wa t er and dried with a towel. The leaves should be made flat, soft and smooth by rolli n g them with a rolling pin after remov i ng the thick veins.
