Since psori a sis is a metabolic disease, a cleansing juice f a st for about s e ven days is always desirable in the beginni n g of the tre a tment. Carr o ts, beats, c u cumbers and grapes may be used for juices. Juices of citrus fruits should be av oided. The warm water enema should be

used daily t o cleanse t h e bowels d u ring the fast. If you suffer a chronic ill n ess, fas t ing is the best r e medy for the treatment of disorders r esulting from toxins in the system. general vitality. To b e gin with, try fasting on o r ange juice a nd water

for two or three days. The procedure is to take ev ery t wo hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. the juice

of an orange diluted wi t h warm wa t er on 50:50 basis. If t h e orange juice does not a g ree, juices

of vegetable such as ca r rots and cucumber m a y be taken. A warm water enema m a y be taken each day while fasting t o cleanse t h e bowels.

 

After the s h ort juice f a s t , the you m a y adopt an all-fruit diet f o r about two days, taking three meals a day of fresh juicy fruits such as apples, pears, gra p es, grapefruit, orange, pineapple

peaches a n d melon. After the juice f ast, follow a well- balanced diet of s e eds, nuts, a nd grains, vegetables and fruits. T his diet sh o uld be supplemented with milk, yoghurt, butter-milk,
