or instance,
the red col

in
a naturally inflammatory condition

, and in case of perso

with feverish and exci

able temperam

nt. If the red
light is
employed for too long and fr

quently, it may produce
dangerous

evers. The danger can

e obviated by using the red light for a few minutes at a time or by placing a wet
bandage over the head.
Similarly, y

llow should
not be used
when the nerves are very active or irritable. Yell

w or orange reddish tones

ay prove injurious in fe

ers, acute i

flammations, delirium, diarrhoea, neuralgia,

alpitation of
the heart a

d any condition of over- excitement. In cases of
paralysis, chronic rhe

matism, gout, consumption and in all cold, pale

d violet may prove too
